Sorting job offers is a tool that allows professionals to more quickly and easily find the offer they’re looking for. When coupled with filtering, sorting is a powerful method to both narrow down and order jobs exactly as desired. The following sorting options exist:
Nearest first
Job Date (soonest first) - default
Highest suggested rate first
Lowest suggested rate first
The “nearest first” option uses your home address and/or zip code, not your current location. This is important, as you can be on vacation or at a friend’s or relative’s house, and still search for job offers in the future, based on your home address. If you wish to use a different address (for example, you move to a new city), simply update your account profile with that new address.
By default, the app sorts job offers by the soonest job work date. For example, jobs being worked today appear at the top of the list, then jobs for tomorrow, and so forth. When you change your sorting selection, the last selection is remembered.
Sorting by “highest suggested rate” does just that. It shows jobs with a higher suggested rate at the top of the list. For example, jobs suggesting $40/hr appear before jobs suggesting $37/hr. The opposite is true for sorting by “lowest suggested rate”.
