Why did I get charged 1.5x the agreed rate?

Why did I get charged 1.5x the agreed rate?

Per employment law, professionals must be paid for overtime.
Overtime pay is specified as 1.5X the employee's wage.
Stynt makes sure this is accomplished by charging 1.5x the agreed rate for hours above 8 hours per day.

An example would be as follows:
- You post a job with hours from 7am - 6pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.
- You and the professional agree on a rate of $47/hr
- The professional works 10 hours, which you verify.

The total compensation for the professional would be:
8 hours x $47, plus
2 hours x ($47 x 1.5)

This would sum to $376 + $141, or $517.

All normal Stynt, payroll, and credit card fees would then be applied to this $517 amount.
