Professional Code of Conduct

Applying for Jobs

  • You are responsible for reviewing job information (date, time, location, skills, parking info, and notes) before you apply.

  • You must double-check there is nothing on your schedule to conflict with the job you’re interested in.

  • Ensure that you have “system notifications” turned on in your Stynt app. When you are hired for a job you will receive notification by the method of your preference. Choosing to not allow notifications may put you at risk for a no-show and account suspension.

  • Monitor your “Applied Jobs” section in your Stynt app. If you are no longer available to work a job it is your responsibility to remove your application prior to being hired. Offices are able to hire you within 30 minutes of the job start time.

Hired jobs

  • Confirm your job via the mobile app immediately when you are hired.

    • To confirm a job, go to Jobs > Active, click on the job and select the "yes I’m confirming" button.

    • You have 36hrs from the time of hire to confirm a job unless the job is the following business day and you were hired before 5:30pm. If so, you must confirm by 7pm.

    • If a job is not confirmed within the allotted time, the job is canceled and your account is placed on hold.

  • We recommend contacting the office before your job to introduce yourself and run through any specific questions (such as parking, PPE, dress code, arrival time, etc.) to ensure a successful day.

  • If your regular employer contacts you to work when you already are booked for a temp job through Stynt, we expect you to remain committed to your Stynt job agreement

Job Cancellations

  • We strongly discourage you from canceling jobs. Canceling a job automatically puts your account on hold until you contact support@stynt.com

  • If you must cancel for any reason, cancel in your app first then, notify BOTH Stynt and the office as soon as possible.

  • If you are trying to cancel a job less than 30 min before the job start time or after the job start time, this cannot be done in the app. You must contact the office directly and email Stynt support.

  • Stynt’s policy does not tolerate professionals who are a “no show” for a job or cancel within 24 hours.

  • If an office contacts you directly to cancel a job, advise them to cancel via their Stynt account. This will allow you to find another job opportunity for that same day.

    • If you notice the job is not canceled, please email support@stynt.com. We will work with the office to get the job canceled.

Day of Job

  • Clock in via the Stynt mobile app when you arrive in the office. Be sure to clock out and back in for any meal breaks, then out at the end of the day.

    • If you forget to clock in/out please notify your point of contact at the office. They have the ability to adjust your hours prior to approving them.

  • Please bring a state or federally issued ID with you to your job .

  • Appearance is important so dress and behave appropriately.  Be clean and well-groomed. Shorter fingernails are more professional and hygienic.  Refrain from wearing too much cologne or perfume as those around you may be allergic.  Keep hair short or pulled back. Limit your body piercings, avoid strong fragrances and too much makeup.  Open-toed shoes and heels are not recommended.

  • Please wear scrubs or lab coats for the back of the office, and business attire for the front, unless the office specifies otherwise.

  • Please be punctual and ready to clock in at the designated start time.

  • If for any reason you are running late, please contact the office directly to notify them that you are delayed as well as contacting Stynt Support via call or email. Communication can keep the day running smoothly for both you and the office.

  • If the office staff is not on site when you arrive, please contact Stynt Support and wait at least 30 minutes before leaving.

Professional Office Etiquette

  • Don't bring your personal life into the workplace, and don't get caught up in interoffice drama.

  • Establish points of contact and ask questions to best help the office and patients.

  • Please make sure you are not sharing your rate of pay with any staff members in the offices you are working with as this could put your account at risk of being put on hold or not being able to work through Stynt going forward.

  • Adhere to all office policies and inquire as to any special needs or roles that may be expected of you.

  • Do not use Facebook or social media while working with patients in the office.

  • No texting/making calls while working with patients in the office.

  • Ask your team if they need assistance and show your support so you can maintain your star ratings for future jobs

On the Job Issues

  • If any on the job issue should arise (schedule changes, equipment malfunctions or staff conflicts, etc.) during your shift, please communicate with your point of contact at the office (office manager and/or doctor).

  • Try to de-escalate any issues so that you are able to complete your scheduled shift for the day

  • If you are not able to de-escalate on the job issues, after speaking with office contact please reach out to Stynt. Do NOT walk off a job without speaking to office and Stynt.

  • If issue happens outside of Stynt business hours please email support@stynt.com

  • Once a job is completed you are able to rate the office and unmatch. This will prevent you from being matched with them in future jobs.

Post Job Checklist

  • Double-check to ensure your hours have been submitted properly via the Stynt platform.

  • Rate the office fairly on the Stynt platform. At this time you can also opt to not match with the office again.

    • Ratings are kept private for offices and professionals.

    • If you have questions or concerns regarding ratings please contact Stynt Support. Never reach out to an office regarding a rating.

  • If the office contacts you to work again; the job MUST be on the Stynt platform. Let the office know they can submit a rehire request that will go directly to you from their Stynt account.

  • If the office wishes to offer you a permanent position, you and the office need to work together with Stynt to accomplish this. The office has to pay a fee to Stynt in order to work with you off of our platform.

  • Payroll Paperwork: If you just worked your first job with Stynt, please be on the lookout for an email from DocuSign to be sent to you (usually within 48hrs). This contains all of the payroll documents you will need to complete in order to be paid.

  • Work week is Sunday - Saturday; payments are direct deposited the following Friday.
