Pro - Explaining W2 vs 1099

Below are the job offers now available to Stynt professionals via your Stynt app. 

  • Employment Models:

    • Employee Model (W2): All professionals are provided employer paid taxes, FICA, FUTA, SUTA, unemployment, liability and malpractice insurance, workers compensation, PTO, Overtime as well as healthcare for some

    • Contractor Model (1099): Choose to work as an independent contractor

  • Payroll Options:

    • Stynt Payroll: You will be paid directly by Stynt.

      • W2 jobs will be paid directly by Stynt through our employer of record Kruse & Associates.

      • 1099 jobs will be paid through Stynt’s payment processor Stripe. Banking information can be added via your Stynt app. 

    • Referral: Offices will handle your payroll directly

      • W2 Referral jobs  will be paid directly by the office and you should be added to their staff payroll as a W2 employee.

      • 1099 Referral jobs  will be paid directly by the office as a 1099 independent contractor.
